The FilAm Music Foundation’s mission is to encourage Filipino classical musicians through scholarship assistance and performance opportunities. The Foundation will both collaborate with presenting organizations, and independently organize concerts in a wide range of venues including established concert series, schools, government, and community settings. The foundation will award scholarships to deserving young Filipino artists for the purpose of music education and career development.

During this inaugural season, a series of concerts have been planned in New York City, Evanston and Chicago. In addition, an advisory committee of esteemed musicians has been formed to identify young talent and assist them in their pursuit of a musical education and career.
