Rap Castle represents one of the most evocative events of the event, balancing a creative use of technology with a musical journey that leads to the roots of rap. In the extraordinary setting of the Royal Palace of Venaria Reale, the audience begins its musical listening in the Great Gallery, through a fascinating path of “sound experiences.” Six cellists distributed in the wide spaces of the Savoy Residence, sound installations and recordings of musical fragments usable from one's cell phone are the ingredients of a very special listening experience. Rap elements and lyrics in various idioms are the antechamber to what will be heard in the Sala Diana, where Malian musician Ballaké Sissoko, world-renowned griot storyteller and rapper ante litteram, will be featured.
