Cello Multiples.
The Polytechnic's Aula Magna hosts a multidisciplinary event inspired by nature and its elements, between word and sound. From the Estonian Arvo Pärt to the baroque pages of Antonio Vivaldi, from the Mediterranean minimalism of the Sicilian Giovanni Sollima to the peacemaking chants of the Brazilian Heitor Villa-Lobos, from the lyricism of Edward Elgar to the new language of Giorgio Colombo Taccani. The kaleidoscopic storytelling of writer Maria Ausilia Di Falco and the extraordinary vocals of Irish singer-songwriter and instrumentalist Naomi Berrill dialogue with the “voices” of the many cellos involved. Sally, the Artificial Intelligence created by the Links Foundation, makes her contribution by making paintings inspired by the music of Cello Multiples in real time.
